Lab › Test chat lets you talk to airys exactly as a customer would, with nobody watching and nothing landing in your inbox.

Use it whenever you want to know what a customer would actually get:

  • After writing an article — ask the question it answers, in the words a customer would use.

  • Before changing your greeting or your identification setting.

  • When a customer says they got a poor answer and you want to reproduce it.

Reading the answer

You get the answer and the article it came from. Both matter. An answer that is right but cites nothing means airys is working from a learning — worth knowing, because learnings are easier to lose track of than articles.

If the answer is thin, ask the same thing three different ways. Where one phrasing works and another does not, your article’s title is usually the thing to fix.

Past chats

Lab › Past chats keeps everything you have tried, so you can come back and see whether today’s answer is better than last week’s after an article change.

Test chats never appear in the inbox, never count against your plan, and never become learnings.
